What?
The Finnish-Swedish Chamber of Commerce is organizing a mentorship & growth program for young entrepreneurs who want to establish their business on the Swedish market. 70% of Finnish companies that internationalize choose the Swedish market first, and among startups, Sweden is an excellent testing ground.
Being a young entrepreneur often means balancing ambitious visions with limited resources, especially when lacking networks, experience, and guidance. For individuals with diverse linguistic and ethnic backgrounds, these challenges can be even more pronounced. Our mentorship and growth program is specifically designed to address these needs – supporting young entrepreneurs across various industries to grow both personally and professionally.
The goal is to help young entrepreneurs take the next step: scaling their business and exploring opportunities in the Swedish and Nordic markets, where the pace is fast and growth potential substantial. Through personalized guidance, access to top-tier experts, and connections with key business figures, participants receive the tools to start off on the right foot, overcome mental barriers, build networks and contacts, receive support for establishment and growth, and develop sustainable business models.
The program kicks off in December 2025, where entrepreneurs and mentors meet and begin their collaboration. Over the following five months, there will be joint workshops and individual sessions focusing on development, internationalization, and growth. Some of the in-person meetings will also be open to other entrepreneurs within the target group to broaden networks and create new opportunities. The program concludes in spring 2026 with a full-day event in Stockholm featuring meetings with investors and industry leaders. The program is adapted to fit the needs of the participants.
Our mentors come from diverse backgrounds with expertise spanning entrepreneurship, sales, recruitment and HR, thorough knowledge of the Swedish market, go-to-market strategies, establishment and growth, as well as hands-on field experience and deep insights.
Who can apply?
Are you a driven young entrepreneur with a scalable business idea or a growth company planning expansion in Sweden? Then this program is for you!
The program is designed for young entrepreneurs who either have a business idea with clear potential or already operate a business in the market. It is not required that the product or service is already launched, but there must be a scalable business model and a concrete expansion plan within a realistic timeframe of 6–12 months – with the goal of establishing a presence in Sweden. Places are limited, and priority will be given to entrepreneurs with the greatest potential to succeed on the Swedish market, and who will benefit most from the program. Participants are expected to take responsibility for their own development and business growth.
Criteria for applicants
- Are you or the majority of the founders under 35?
- Do you have a scalable business model and a company registered in Finland?
- Are you ready to establish yourself in Sweden within the next 6–12 months?
- Can you commit to participating in all parts of the program?

Language: The program will primarily be conducted in English. Swedish will be used as well but you do not need to master Swedish to participate.

Pitch Training and Sales
- Workshop led by Steinar Korsmo, CEO of Seed Forum International and one of the Nordic region’s most acclaimed pitch trainers, who will prepare you to be investor-ready.
- Theme: Pitching, sales, financing, negotiation techniques. Funds, business angels, and capital in Sweden. Preparation for investor meetings.
- Workshop and coaching with mentors.
Thursday, April 23rd 2026 at 9 AM to 5 PM + dinner in Stockholm
Full day in Stockholm!
